United Overseas Bank (UOB) is seeking a dynamic VP2 Technical Delivery Manager to join our Global Markets and Enterprise Technology (GMET) division. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of delivering complex, high-stakes risk management technology solutions that drive our digital transformation agenda.
You will lead cross-functional engineering teams, bridging the gap between business requirements and scalable technical execution. As a key stakeholder in our Risk Management domain, you will oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring architectural integrity, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of robust systems that support UOB's global footprint. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects within the Risk Management domain, ensuring adherence to quality, timeline, and budget.
- Manage and mentor high-performing engineering teams to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Drive the adoption of Agile/DevOps methodologies to enhance delivery velocity and system reliability.
- Oversee system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and integration with the wider UOB technology ecosystem.
- Monitor and manage technical risks, ensuring compliance with banking industry regulations and internal security standards.
- Coordinate with cross-regional teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of global risk platforms.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in technical delivery management, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Deep understanding of Risk Management systems (Market Risk, Credit Risk, or Liquidity Risk).
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, enterprise-level software delivery projects in a global environment.
- Strong expertise in modern software stacks, cloud technologies, and API-first architectures.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing senior-level decision-makers.
- Experience with high-frequency trading or complex financial data processing is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Agile project management methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
