Coliseum Cafe & Hotel is currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Waiter/Waitress to join our team at our Mid Valley location. Known for our heritage and exceptional service, we are looking for individuals who take pride in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring that every guest receives prompt, friendly, and professional service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with people, and is committed to maintaining high standards of food service and cleanliness. We value team players who are eager to grow within the hospitality industry.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables upon arrival.
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide informed recommendations.
  • Accurately record food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Perform regular table maintenance, including refilling water and clearing used dishes.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any service-related concerns with professionalism.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining area throughout the shift.
  • Process customer payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately.

Kualifikasi

  • Open to Malaysian citizens only.
  • Prior experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is highly preferred but entry-level candidates with a great attitude are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move efficiently within a busy dining room.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • A proactive team player who can follow instructions and work well under pressure.
