Sumimetal Industries is a leading player in the manufacturing and industrial sector, committed to operational excellence and high-quality service. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Executive to join our logistics team in Bukit Rambai, Melaka.
As a Warehouse Executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods, managing inventory accuracy, and optimizing our storage operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse best practices, safety protocols, and supply chain coordination. In this role, you will collaborate closely with procurement, production, and transport teams to meet production schedules and customer demands effectively.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and utilization of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations (OSHA) within the warehouse facility.
- Coordinate with logistics and transport providers to ensure timely delivery and collection of materials.
- Monitor stock levels and manage reorder points to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Supervise loading and unloading processes to ensure product integrity and efficient handling.
- Prepare periodic reports on inventory status, movement patterns, and warehouse productivity.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in warehouse management or inventory control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and experience with ERP/WMS software.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and standard warehouse safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possession of a valid forklift driving license (highly preferred).
