We are currently seeking a meticulous and analytical Warranty Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team in Nilai. In this critical role, you will be the bridge between customer feedback and product improvement, ensuring that warranty return samples are processed with precision and technical rigor.
As a Warranty Engineer, you will be responsible for executing the comprehensive Valeo warranty part analysis procedure. You will lead investigations into technical failures, ensuring full compliance with Customer and Valeo Warranty QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) requirements. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in a manufacturing environment, possesses a keen eye for root-cause analysis, and is dedicated to driving continuous improvement in product quality and reliability.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the secure handling and tracking of all warranty return samples from receipt to final disposition.
- Execute systematic technical analysis on returned components following established Valeo warranty procedures.
- Lead and facilitate QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) activities to resolve warranty-related quality issues promptly.
- Prepare detailed technical reports outlining failure modes, root causes, and recommended corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, production, and quality teams to implement design or process improvements.
- Monitor and analyze warranty performance metrics to identify trends and report findings to management.
- Ensure all warranty documentation remains compliant with both internal Valeo standards and external customer requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a quality or warranty engineering role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive industry quality standards and warranty management systems.
- Proficiency in root-cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with both technical teams and customers.
- Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Experience with Valeo-specific quality tools or similar ISO/IATF 16949 environments is highly desirable.
