Sapura Industrial is currently seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Waste Water Treatment Engineer to join our manufacturing facility in Gurun, Kedah. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) to ensure seamless industrial processes while upholding the highest environmental standards.
As part of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with Department of Environment (DOE) regulations and championing our sustainability initiatives. We are looking for an expert in scheduled waste management who is passionate about operational efficiency, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement under ISO 14001 standards.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the ETP/WWTP to ensure optimal discharge quality.
- Ensure full compliance with DOE environmental regulations and local water quality standards.
- Coordinate and document scheduled waste management activities in accordance with legal requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive environmental performance reports and maintain accurate records for audits.
- Implement and monitor ISO 14001 Environmental Management System protocols.
- Conduct regular water quality sampling and analytical testing to identify process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks in waste treatment systems.
- Provide technical training to plant operators on safety procedures and environmental best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in ETP/WWTP operations within an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of DOE (Department of Environment) regulations and scheduled waste management codes.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards and environmental management system auditing.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and chemical processes related to water treatment.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in environmental reporting and documentation.
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Malay.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
