Are you an experienced Water Management expert looking to make a significant impact in the mining and natural resources sector? We are seeking a highly skilled Water Management Head to lead our strategic water operations in Sumatera Selatan. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of water management systems, ensuring seamless operational productivity while upholding the highest standards of environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance.
As the Water Management Head, you will design and implement innovative strategies to optimize water usage, drainage, and treatment processes. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, bridge the gap between technical operations and environmental stewardship, and serve as the primary point of contact for complex hydrological challenges. This position is ideal for a proactive leader committed to driving efficiency in a high-stakes mining environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Direct and manage all water management activities, including dewatering systems, water treatment plants, and surface water drainage.
- Develop and implement comprehensive water usage optimization strategies to maximize operational productivity.
- Ensure full compliance with government environmental regulations and internal sustainability standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Monitor hydrological and meteorological data to anticipate and mitigate environmental risks.
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of pumps, piping networks, and sediment control infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management regarding water consumption, quality audits, and capital project progress.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in water management, specifically within the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Strong technical expertise in dewatering operations, wastewater treatment, and hydrological modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian environmental regulations (AMDAL, KLHK standards).
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage large-scale operational teams and budgets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to be based in Sumatera Selatan and travel to site locations as required.
