Tanggung Jawab
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to fabricate metal components accurately.
- Perform high-quality welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) on various metal thicknesses and types.
- Operate manual and automated fabrication machinery, including saws, shears, brakes, and drills.
- Ensure all fabricated parts meet exact specifications, tolerances, and quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company OHS policies.
- Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on welding equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of consumables and report any material shortages promptly.
Kualifikasi
- High School Diploma or Vocational Training in Welding/Fabrication preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Welder or Fabricator in an industrial setting.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with standard welding techniques and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to perform precise measurements using calipers, tapes, and other measuring tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to standard operating procedures.
