Tanggung Jawab
- Perform advanced FCAW welding on marine and industrial structures using specialized equipment
- Interpret technical blueprints and welding specifications for precise execution
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with AWS/DNV standards
- Train junior welders on best practices and safety protocols
- Operate and maintain welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and plasma cutters
- Document welding procedures and maintain quality control records
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical welding challenges
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 years of professional FCAW welding experience in shipbuilding/fabrication
- Valid AWS D1.1 or equivalent welding certification
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and welding symbols
- Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties for marine applications
- OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
