Tanggung Jawab
- Perform visual inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of welds to ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, and other applicable codes.
- Review engineering drawings and welding procedures to verify accuracy and specifications.
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in detailed reports.
- Conduct pre-welding and post-welding inspections to identify potential defects or safety hazards.
- Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Ensure all safety protocols and PPE requirements are followed during inspection activities.
- Train junior staff on proper welding techniques and inspection standards when required.
Kualifikasi
- Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding inspection or quality control within the construction/manufacturing industry.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification (AWS, ASNT Level II) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of welding symbols, metallurgy, and blueprint reading.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in various field conditions.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
