Join Oil States Indonesia as a Welding Supervisor and play a critical role in our offshore and fabrication operations. We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee our welding teams, ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols and high-quality standards. In this position, you will manage day and night shift operations, mentoring welders to maximize efficiency and meet project deadlines. We value precision and safety above all else. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and coordinate daily activities of the welding team, managing both day and night shift schedules.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and welding procedure qualifications (WPS) to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Enforce strict safety regulations and ensure all team members are wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Mentor and train junior welders to improve craftsmanship and operational efficiency.
- Monitor material usage and ensure proper storage and handling of welding consumables.
- Prepare daily shift reports and communicate any delays or technical issues to site management.
- Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to resolve complex welding challenges.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding supervision within the Oil & Gas or fabrication industry.
- Valid certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or AWS Certified Welding Inspector is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards, including ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1, or API standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends as required.
- Valid medical fitness certificate for offshore or industrial work.
