ByteDance's Trust & Safety (T&S) team is the guardian of our digital ecosystem, ensuring a safe, inclusive platform for users to express themselves freely. As our Wellbeing Operations Manager (APAC), you'll spearhead initiatives that protect vulnerable users and promote positive digital wellbeing across the Asia-Pacific region. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proactive safety policies, implement wellbeing frameworks, and lead crisis response protocols during high-stakes incidents. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and deep empathy for user safety. - Design and execute wellbeing strategies for APAC markets, focusing on user protection and mental health initiatives
- Lead crisis response protocols for safety incidents, coordinating with global T&S teams
- Develop operational frameworks for content moderation and wellbeing enforcement
- Analyze safety trends using data-driven insights to inform proactive interventions
- Train and mentor regional teams on wellbeing policies and safety protocols
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate wellbeing features into platform design
- Ensure compliance with regional regulations and cultural safety standards
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in Trust & Safety, wellbeing operations, or similar risk management role
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams across APAC markets
- Expertise in crisis management, policy development, and safety protocols
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in safety metrics interpretation
- Deep understanding of regional cultural nuances and digital wellbeing challenges
- Certifications in mental health first aid or crisis intervention preferred
- Fluency in English and at least one APAC language (e.g., Tagalog, Mandarin)
