Servay, a dynamic leader in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics sector, is seeking an experienced and results-driven WMS Assistant Manager to join our team in Sabah. This is an exceptional opportunity to take full ownership of our Warehouse Management System operations, directly impacting the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our regional supply chain.
In this critical leadership role, you will act as the subject matter expert for all WMS-related activities. Your primary mission will be to lead system operations, identify and implement strategic efficiency improvements, and mentor a talented team of logistics and IT professionals. You will be the vital link between the warehouse floor and the digital systems that power it, ensuring seamless integration and peak operational performance.
This role is designed for a leader who can bridge the gap between operations and technology. You will oversee the entire WMS lifecycle, from configuration and troubleshooting to optimization and user training. Your analytical skills will be crucial in re-engineering processes to reduce costs and improve service levels. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operations, performance, and stability of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Lead system implementation, configuration, upgrades, and integration projects with ERP and other business systems.
- Analyze workflow data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Develop and maintain WMS standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and training documentation.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of WMS analysts and warehouse coordinators to foster technical excellence.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and coordinate with external vendors for timely technical support and resolution.
- Generate, analyze, and present reports on inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate closely with Operations, IT, and Supply Chain teams to align WMS capabilities with current and future business needs.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in WMS operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory, lead, or assistant managerial role.
- Proven hands-on experience with major WMS platforms (e.g., SAP EWM, Oracle WMS Cloud, Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, or HighJump).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven and process-oriented mindset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end warehouse processes (receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting).
- Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to be based full-time in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
