Are you passionate about workplace safety and compliance? Highway International Private Limited is seeking a dedicated WSH Officer to join our dynamic team in Sungei Kadut. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and enforcing comprehensive safety programmes and procedures across our operations. We are looking for a proactive professional who ensures strict adherence to statutory and legal requirements, fostering a secure and healthy work environment for all employees.
As a WSH Officer, you will play a critical role in minimizing workplace risks and accidents. You will collaborate with management to identify hazards, conduct safety audits, and implement corrective measures. Your expertise will help us maintain our high standards of operational safety while ensuring full compliance with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations and industry best practices.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures tailored to the organization's operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to safety standards across all departments and site locations.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive actions.
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills for employees.
- Prepare and maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with management to drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
Kualifikasi
- Certified Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSH Officer) or equivalent qualification.
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar WSH role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong working knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and influence staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and WSH management software.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
