About the Role
We are excited to represent a leading player in the 3PL, Warehousing, and FMCG industry who is looking to expand their logistics team. We are seeking x2 dedicated Ocean Freight Officers / Logistics Officers to manage their ocean freight operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing company. The role is located in the West Region of Singapore and company transport is provided for your convenience. You will enjoy a healthy work-life balance with a standard 5-day work week and office hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage ocean freight shipments (import/export) to ensure timely delivery.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders on shipment schedules.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (Bill of Lading, Airway Bills, Invoices, Packing Lists).
- Track and trace shipments, proactively resolving any logistical issues or delays.
- Optimize freight costs by negotiating rates and selecting the most efficient shipping routes.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on shipment activities and logistics performance.
- Support warehouse and inventory teams to coordinate inbound/outbound logistics operations.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in ocean freight operations or logistics coordination.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and Incoterms.
- Familiarity with 3PL, Warehousing, or FMCG environment is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Singaporean/PR preferred. Candidates available immediately or with a short notice period are encouraged to apply.
