Singapore Management University (SMU) is seeking a highly motivated and intellectually rigorous researcher to join the Centre for Commercial Law in Asia (CCLA) as a Yong Pung How Research Fellow. This prestigious one-year contract position is designed for an emerging scholar with a well-defined research agenda that contributes to the advancement of commercial law scholarship in the region.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute a rigorous, well-defined research agenda throughout the one-year appointment.
- Produce high-quality scholarly outputs, including journal articles, working papers, or book chapters.
- Collaborate with CCLA faculty on interdisciplinary research projects and grant-funded initiatives.
- Organize and participate in academic seminars, conferences, and workshops hosted by the Centre.
- Contribute to the research culture of the university by providing mentorship or research assistance as required.
- Engage with stakeholders in the legal and commercial sectors to ensure research relevance.
- Maintain records of scholarly progress and contribute to internal progress reporting.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a Ph.D. in Law or a closely related discipline (or equivalent research experience).
- Strong track record or promising potential for high-impact legal publications.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial law, or a significant sub-field thereof.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative academic team.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical research practices and academic integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both academic and professional communities.
