PTL Properties is seeking a motivated Account Assistant to join our expanding team in Bukit Mertajam. In this role, you will serve as the financial backbone of our operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and providing essential data that drives our strategic property development decisions.
As our Account Assistant, you will work closely with the finance team to manage daily accounting cycles, assist in month-end closing, and maintain high standards of financial integrity. We are looking for an individual who is not only proficient in numbers but also eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment where efficiency and proactive problem-solving are valued.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage daily bookkeeping, including processing accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end closing, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Monitor and track project-related expenditures to ensure compliance with company budgets.
- Prepare tax documentation and ensure all filings are submitted in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Support the finance manager in audit preparation and internal control processes.
- Maintain systematic filing of financial records and vouchers for easy retrieval and auditing.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed to streamline office operations.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (LCCI/ACCA/CAT students are encouraged to apply).
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in an accounting or administrative role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and popular accounting software (e.g., UBS, AutoCount, or SAP).
- Strong numerical accuracy and keen attention to detail.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tight deadlines.
- Understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and basic taxation principles.
- Self-motivated with a high level of integrity and professional ethics.
