We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our finance team on a Contract/Temporary basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health of our operations. Your core responsibilities will involve managing accounts payable and receivable, performing accurate bank reconciliations, assisting with comprehensive month-end closing procedures, and maintaining meticulous financial records in strict compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. You will also assist in the preparation of financial reports and liaise with external parties such as auditors and tax agents when required.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers with high accuracy.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monthly accounts, promptly resolving discrepancies.
  • Process employee claims, expense reports, and petty cash reimbursements.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and suppliers regarding billing and payment inquiries.
  • Support the finance team during internal and external audit processes.
  • Handle filing, data entry, and other administrative accounting duties as assigned.

Kualifikasi

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in an accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
  • Immediate availability or short notice period is preferred.
