We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Assistant to join our growing team in Johor Bahru. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. The successful candidate will support the finance department by handling core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in our ledgers, and maintaining strong professional relationships with our vendors and stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full cycle of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), as well as supporting General Ledger (GL) tasks. If you possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and are eager to contribute to an efficient finance team, we want to hear from you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes with high precision.
- Assist in the preparation of General Ledger (GL) entries and monthly closing activities.
- Monitor and track overhead expenses, ensuring they align with budgetary guidelines.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate timely payments and resolve outstanding billing issues.
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support the finance team with audit documentation and filing tasks.
- Maintain organized financial records and assist in the preparation of internal reports.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or UBS).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage professional relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
