We are currently looking for a proactive Account Assistant to join our team in Johor Bahru. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for career growth in a supportive and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for managing invoicing, payments, and financial records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all accounting functions. You will also assist in preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and maintaining proper documentation.
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent numerical skills, and a passion for accounting. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable with accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Knowledge of SST, EPF, SOCSO, and other statutory requirements will be an added advantage.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and process invoices, credit notes, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and databases.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Handle SST submissions, EPF, SOCSO, and other statutory contributions.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities when required.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of SST, EPF, SOCSO, and tax regulations is preferred.
