We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Assistant to join the finance team at Continental Platform (M) Sdn Bhd. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial records, assisting with month-end closing, and maintaining a smooth workflow for the accounting department. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly financial records and ledgers.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures, including adjusting entries.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, including financial correspondence.
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for audits and financial reviews.
- Assist with payroll documentation and other ad-hoc accounting duties as needed.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, MYOB).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
