GFZ International is seeking a meticulous and motivated Account Assistant to join our finance team in Balakong, Selangor. As an Account Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, supporting the daily operations of the accounting department, and facilitating smooth communication between internal teams and our stakeholders. Tanggung Jawab
- Process and verify daily invoices, expense claims, and payment vouchers with high accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Maintain and update accurate financial records and filing systems in compliance with company policies.
- Perform bank reconciliations and track accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Assist in the month-end closing process, ensuring all entries are recorded in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the finance team to handle audit inquiries and tax documentation preparation.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/LCCI).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative support role; fresh graduates with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, or MYOB).
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to liaise with various departments.
- Strong sense of integrity, reliability, and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
