You will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Tanggung Jawab
- Maintain and update daily accounting records and general ledgers accurately.
- Process incoming and outgoing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow movements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Manage payroll processing, including EPF, SOCSO, and EIS contributions.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Organize and maintain a systematic filing system for all financial and administrative documents.
- Support the senior accountant in year-end audit preparations and tax filing processes.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, or UBS) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet reporting deadlines.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn within the construction industry context.
- Residing in or willing to commute to Alor Setar, Kedah.
