We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Assistant to join the finance team at Bintulu Tiong Engineering. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated finance professional to support our operations in Bintulu, Sarawak, ensuring our financial processes are accurate, compliant, and efficient.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our daily accounting records. You will process a high volume of invoices and payments, manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform regular reconciliations to ensure data accuracy. We are looking for someone who can assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring that all financial reports are prepared on time. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in ensuring strict compliance with company policies and financial regulations while providing robust support during internal and external audits.

Tanggung Jawab
- Maintain accurate daily accounting records and general ledgers.
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes and financial reporting.
- Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Perform month-end bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
