Kufong Therapy Centre is a leading healthcare provider in Sabah, specializing in comprehensive therapy services for individuals of all ages. We are dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care and are seeking a talented and experienced Account Controller to join our team and lead our financial operations.
As the Account Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance department, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls. You will ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations while providing strategic financial guidance to support the centre’s growth and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include managing the month-end closing process, preparing financial statements and management reports, leading the annual budgeting cycle, liaising with external auditors and tax agents, and mentoring the finance team. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization to enhance the centre’s financial performance.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in accounting, preferably with experience in the healthcare or services industry. A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly valued, along with strong leadership skills and proficiency in accounting software.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily accounting operations and manage the finance team.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and handle tax filings.
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
