Tanggung Jawab

  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of daily accounting functions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets for management review.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal financial controls to safeguard hotel assets and prevent revenue leakage.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure all financial data is accurately recorded in the accounting system.
  • Coordinate with various departments to manage operational costs and assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local statutory requirements, including tax filings (SST) and preparation for annual audits.
  • Manage petty cash disbursements and oversee the processing of staff claims and vendor payments in accordance with company policy.

Kualifikasi

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (e.g., LCCI, partial ACCA).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience in accounting, ideally within the hospitality or service sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced functions in Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount) and familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is highly advantageous.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail in handling sensitive financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight reporting deadlines.
