We are currently seeking a talented Intermediate Accountant to become an integral part of our finance team in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. Your Role and Impact:
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the complete and accurate preparation of financial statements and income tax returns across various corporate entities. Your work will be vital in ensuring our financial reporting is compliant with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and Philippine tax regulations. You will leverage your strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
Key Duties:
Your day-to-day activities will include overseeing the general ledger, managing month-end and year-end closing procedures, and supervising transactional processing for accounts payable and receivable. You will handle complex tax calculations and filings, including income tax, VAT, and expanded withholding tax. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and financial analysis that supports critical business decisions.
Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years of solid accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, and a proven track record in financial statement preparation and tax compliance. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with PFRS.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Handle the preparation and filing of BIR tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax) to ensure full compliance.
- Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger analysis, and fixed asset management.
- Assist in the year-end audit process by preparing schedules and liaising with external auditors.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing variance analysis against actual results.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) to maintain accurate and efficient financial records.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of PFRS, BIR regulations, and general accounting principles.
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
