The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards. You will supervise the entire accounting cycle, from invoicing and reconciliations to statutory filings and audit coordination. You will also be responsible for preparing comprehensive reports for management, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with MFRS and MPERS.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax computations, returns, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies during audits and filings.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic planning and budgeting.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), MPERS, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
