Atlasoffice, Inc., a growing leader in the business services industry, is seeking a highly analytical and dedicated Accountant to join our team in the vibrant Makati City. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including preparing detailed financial reports, managing forecasts, reconciling accounts, and ensuring tax compliance. Your strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities will be crucial in identifying trends, improving processes, and providing actionable insights to management. We are looking for someone who not only excels at the numbers but also possesses the proactive mindset to solve complex financial challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure strict compliance with BIR regulations, including the timely filing and remittance of all tax returns.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits.
  • Maintain and update accounting systems and recommend process improvements for operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in a general accounting or audit role.
  • Proven experience with financial reporting, tax preparation, and account reconciliation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
