Tanggung Jawab
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support strategic decision-making by the management team.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of general ledger accounts to maintain financial integrity.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, statutory reports, and compliance with the Companies Act and other relevant financial regulations in Malaysia.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records and processes to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and operations, to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience in an accounting role within a corporate or e-commerce environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) is essential.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian accounting standards (MASB) and tax regulations, including GST filing.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
