Join Singapore Refining Company as a Temporary Accountant specializing in Accounts Payable and contribute to our finance department's success. This 9-month temporary position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the refining industry while supporting our financial operations.
As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial health by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports. Tanggung Jawab
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper authorization and coding
- Manage accounts payable functions including vendor payments, expense reports, and reconciliations
- Maintain vendor master data and resolve payment discrepancies with vendors
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for financial transactions
- Prepare and submit regular reports on accounts payable status and metrics
- Assist in month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure smooth financial operations
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounts payable functions
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor interactions
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements in Singapore
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in the refining or manufacturing industry is preferred
