Michael Page is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accountant / Finance Analyst to join our team in Johor Bahru. In this role, you will act as a key GL Specialist, ensuring the integrity of our financial records while driving operational efficiency through SAP.
You will play a pivotal role in managing general ledger activities, facilitating accurate financial reporting, and providing actionable insights that support our business objectives. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end General Ledger (GL) processes, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Execute accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with local accounting standards and corporate policies.
- Utilize SAP to perform data entry, reconciliation, and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit documentation.
- Support tax filing activities and ensure timely submission of statutory financial reports.
- Continuously optimize finance processes to improve reporting speed and data accuracy.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or MICPA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in GL accounting or financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, and local tax regulations in Malaysia.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a professional, cross-functional team environment.
