Khanmobile Sdn Bhd, a rapidly expanding leader in the mobile phone and accessories retail industry, is seeking a talented and driven Accountant to join our headquarters in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. We operate a growing network of branches and are looking for someone who can serve as the financial engine of our business.
This role is designed for an accounting professional who wants to move beyond repetitive data entry and become a true strategic partner. You will take full ownership of the complete financial management of our multi-branch operations. Your core duties will encompass overseeing the entire accounts payable and receivable lifecycle, managing high-volume inventory costing and valuation (across thousands of SKUs in multiple locations), performing meticulous bank and inter-branch reconciliations, preparing accurate monthly financial statements, and ensuring strict adherence to Malaysian tax laws and financial regulations (SST, Corporate Tax, EPF/SOCSO/EIS).
Beyond the numbers, you will work side-by-side with the management team to analyze financial performance against targets, identify cost-saving and margin improvement opportunities, and develop robust cash flow forecasts to support our aggressive expansion plans. Your analytical insights will directly influence strategic business decisions, from evaluating the profitability of new store openings to negotiating favorable terms with key suppliers.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL) for the company and multiple retail branches in compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage high-volume inventory accounting, including stock valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, and monthly stock take reconciliation across all locations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, inter-branch reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), and variance analysis for management review.
- Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements, including SST submission, corporate tax estimation and filing, and EPF/SOCSO/EIS contributions.
- Handle accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments. Manage accounts receivable and monitor customer collections.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers during audits and regulatory submissions.
- Support the finance manager in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and ad-hoc financial analysis to support business growth and expansion.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Certificate (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, PA) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on working experience in a full-set accounting role. Experience in retail, FMCG, or multi-branch environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws (SST, Corporate Tax) and accounting standards (MFRS/MPERS).
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, AutoCount, Million) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight monthly closing deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with professional proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
