This role is pivotal in supporting the financial health and operational excellence of their rapidly expanding footprint across Southeast Asia (SEA) and the Australia-New Zealand (ANZ) regions.
As an Accounting Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of retail accounting activities. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage day-to-day retail accounting operations for multiple entities across the SEA and ANZ regions.
- Perform timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile retail outlet sales, bank statements, and credit card transactions to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Support regional tax compliance, including GST/VAT filings and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Assist in the optimization of accounting workflows and the implementation of internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and operational issues.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA/ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Prior experience in the Retail or FMCG industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage regional stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
