Our client, a reputable organization based in Quezon City, is actively seeking a dedicated and analytical Accounting and Finance Officer to join their growing finance team. The Role:
As the Accounting and Finance Officer, you will be the backbone of the financial department. You will oversee the complete accounting cycle, from transaction processing to financial close. A significant part of your role involves mastering Philippine taxation, ensuring all BIR filings (including VAT, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax Returns) are accurate and submitted on time. You will also play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and providing management with insightful financial reports that drive decision-making.

Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field. A CPA license is a significant advantage. You should have at least 3-5 years of solid experience in a similar general accounting role, with specific expertise in Philippine tax compliance. Strong proficiency in accounting systems (like QuickBooks or SAP) and advanced Excel skills are essential. You must be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Ensure 100% compliance with BIR tax regulations, including the preparation and electronic filing of all required tax returns (1601C, 1601E, 1601F, 2550M, 2551Q, 1702).
- Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax consultants during annual audits and tax mapping.
- Manage the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate capitalisation, depreciation, and disposal tracking.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Mentor junior finance staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Management Accounting from a recognized university.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or as a finance officer.
- Comprehensive understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR tax laws.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet strict monthly and quarterly deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
