Yatari Express Philippines Inc, a leading logistics and express delivery company, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our growing finance team in Manila. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to contribute to the financial accuracy and operational efficiency of a dynamic organization.
As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting department with day-to-day financial transactions, record keeping, and reporting. Your meticulous attention to detail will help ensure that all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform data entry and maintenance of financial records
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancy resolution
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare and review invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
- Coordinate with other departments for expense reporting and approvals
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, vlookup are a plus)
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is an advantage
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
