Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and maintain accurate daily bookkeeping records, including journals and ledgers.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, specifically those set by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
- Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and regulatory filings.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Maintain organized and secure filing systems for all financial documents and regulatory records.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Prepare basic financial statements and expense reports for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an accounting assistant role or a similar financial position is preferred.
- Familiarity with Philippine accounting standards, BIR rules, and SEC regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and MS Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect discrepancies in financial data.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
