Shopee is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Executive to join our dynamic Finance team on a 12-month contract. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the financial integrity of our operations, specifically focusing on Accounts Receivable (AR). We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced e-commerce environment and possesses a strong grasp of financial processes and compliance.
As part of our Finance division, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of billing and collections. This includes the timely issuance of invoices, debit notes, and credit notes with precise coding to facilitate smooth approvals. You will ensure that all receipts are accurately recorded and reconciled, supporting the overall financial health of the company. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process, ensuring the timely and accurate issuance of invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Perform accurate coding of financial documents to ensure compliance with company processes and approval workflows.
- Monitor and follow up on pending receivables and outstanding payments to ensure healthy cash flow.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies or queries efficiently.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by providing accurate AR reports and data.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external clients to facilitate smooth transaction processing.
- Maintain and update the AR ledger and filing systems to ensure records are up-to-date and accessible.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably within the e-commerce, retail, or logistics industry.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is an advantage.
