Dataprep Holdings Bhd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team in Petaling Jaya. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment, working closely with experienced accounting professionals.
As an intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our daily financial operations. You will be exposed to real-world financial tasks, including accounts payable processing, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in numerical accuracy, and is ready to contribute to the success of our finance department starting immediately.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the processing and verification of accounts payable invoices and expense claims.
- Support the team with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Perform accurate data entry into our accounting software systems.
- Assist in the preparation of financial documents and monthly closing reports.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial records according to company standards.
- Support the finance team in ad-hoc administrative tasks and audit preparation.
- Assist with GST/SST documentation and basic tax filing preparation.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Available to start immediately for a minimum internship duration of 3 months.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of integrity regarding confidential information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced office environment.
