Wallpaper & Carpets Distributors is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accounting & Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations in the vibrant Brickfields district of Kuala Lumpur. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall management of our accounting department, ensuring the integrity of financial records, and driving strategic financial planning.

As a Finance Manager, you will serve as a key advisor to senior management, providing insights that support business growth and profitability. You will lead a dedicated team, implement robust internal controls, and ensure full compliance with Malaysian financial regulations and tax laws. We are seeking a results-oriented professional who is passionate about financial excellence and operational efficiency.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local standards.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget and cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Lead the monthly financial close process and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure all statutory filings (e.g., SST, EPF, SOCSO) are accurate and timely.
  • Conduct variance analysis and implement cost control measures to improve profit margins.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, conducting performance reviews and fostering professional development.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or ACA).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or MYOB) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Malaysian tax regulations and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
