As an Accounting Manager, you will lead the financial administration team, bridging the gap between site operations and corporate accounting. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, compliance, and process improvement within the unique financial landscape of construction projects.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the full spectrum of financial and management accounting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
- Oversee project accounting, including cost tracking, progress claims, and subcontractor payments.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings (GST/Corporate Tax), and industry-specific regulations.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to optimize financial workflows and mitigate project risks.
- Analyze project performance, cash flow, and profitability, providing actionable insights to the management team.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory authorities.
- Supervise a team to ensure accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, and accounts payable/receivable management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CA).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably with exposure to the construction or engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local tax laws.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or construction-specific accounting software).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional project teams.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and handle high-pressure environments.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
