Join Magsaysay Maritime Corporation's dynamic finance team as an Accounting Manager (CPA) and drive financial excellence for our Strategic Business Unit. In this pivotal role, you'll architect and oversee comprehensive accounting infrastructure, ensuring robust financial systems and procedures align with global maritime industry standards. You'll lead critical financial operations, including month-end closings, compliance audits, and strategic financial reporting while mentoring high-performing accounting teams. Tanggung Jawab
- Direct and oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management
- Develop and implement standardized accounting policies, controls, and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes and prepare consolidated financial statements
- Manage and mentor accounting team members, fostering professional development and high performance
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior management
- Oversee budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS) and IFRS requirements
Kualifikasi
- CPA license with at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in team leadership and accounting department management
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills
- Experience in maritime, shipping, or logistics industry highly advantageous
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
