Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports and statements.
- Establish, implement, and maintain proper internal controls, accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate tax compliance activities, including corporate tax filings, SST management, and liaising with external auditors and tax agents.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to junior accounting staff to foster a high-performing team.
- Analyze existing accounting workflows and implement system upgrades or process optimizations to improve overall efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial operations, ideally in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA member).
- Strong understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), local tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as SQL, AutoCount, SAP, or Xero) and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Proven leadership capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, analytical, and capable of working independently in a flexible workplace setup.
