Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Ensure strict compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) policies, including the timely filing of taxes, permits, and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of junior accountants and clerks, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Conduct internal audits and prepare comprehensive audit schedules to facilitate external audits.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Philippine GAAP.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure proper documentation and validity.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during year-end examinations.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA License is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine Tax Code, BIR regulations, and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., SAP, MYOB, or QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
