Under the direct mentorship of our experienced accountants and finance managers, you will dive deep into the entire accounting cycle. You will handle real data, operate industry-standard accounting software, and contribute directly to monthly closings and financial reporting. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis in compliance with MFRS/IFRS standards.
- Support the full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, and debtor follow-ups.
- Perform accurate monthly bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, and general ledger account analysis.
- Participate actively in month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing journal entries and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and tax computations, liaising with external auditors and tax agents.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records to ensure a robust audit trail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve financial discrepancies and improve reporting processes.
- Handle ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager to support departmental goals.
Kualifikasi
- Currently enrolled in a recognized Diploma or Bachelor's Degree program in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Strong academic credentials with a solid understanding of double-entry accounting and financial principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory, with an advanced level in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH).
- Experience or familiarity with enterprise accounting software (e.g., SAP, SQL, Oracle, UBS, or AutoCount) is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to a full-time internship for a duration of 3 to 6 consecutive months.
