YH Goh & Co is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts cum Tax Assistant/Executive to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. We are an established firm providing comprehensive business and corporate consultancy services, and we are looking for a proactive individual to support our finance operations.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing day-to-day accounting tasks and assisting with tax compliance for our diverse clientele. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and adherence to regulatory standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g., SST, Corporate Tax) in compliance with Malaysian regulations.
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports as required by management.
- Assist in the annual audit process by preparing working papers and schedules.
- Maintain and update client accounting records using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB).
- Handle correspondence with clients and government agencies regarding tax and financial matters.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Candidate with ACCA/CPA qualification or partial completion is preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or tax is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian tax laws and accounting standards (MFRS/SSAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
