Sticky Rice Travel Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team in Kota Kinabalu. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations, ensuring that our accounting processes are seamless, accurate, and efficient.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on precision, possesses strong organizational skills, and understands the importance of timely financial reporting in a fast-paced travel environment. You will be responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, managing reimbursements, and ensuring that all financial records are compliant with statutory requirements. Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and process vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and payment vouchers.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records and ensure all documentation is filed correctly.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant government authorities as required.
  • Support the finance team in streamlining accounting procedures and enhancing internal controls.

Kualifikasi

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., LCCI, ACCA, CAT).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, Xero, or MYOB) is highly preferred.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and other MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tight deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to be based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
