As an Accounts Executive, you will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with company policies. You will be an integral part of a team that keeps our business processes running smoothly, contributing to our continued success in the Malaysian engineering industry.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
- Prepare and process monthly bank reconciliations and verify ledger entries for accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Monitor and track expenses, ensuring all documentation complies with internal audit requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant government authorities when required.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and filing systems to ensure easy retrieval and data integrity.
- Support the finance manager in month-end closing activities and cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax filings (SST/GST) and regulatory accounting standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., LCCI, ACCA, CAT).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., UBS, SQL, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting strict deadlines.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial data.
- Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is considered a strong advantage.
