Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to make an impact within a dynamic, industry-leading organization? Boardroom is currently seeking a diligent Accounts Executive for a 6-month contract engagement based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

In this role, you will play a critical part in our finance operations, taking ownership of the full set of accounts and ensuring precision in our financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to demonstrate their expertise in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the high standards of service Boardroom is known for. You will collaborate with our seasoned finance team to streamline processes and maintain accurate financial records throughout your contract tenure.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage and prepare full set of accounts for assigned entities, including GL, AP, and AR.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with company timelines.
  • Execute bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow movements on a daily basis.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of GST/SST filings and other statutory tax compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure all depreciation schedules are up to date.
  • Support the finance manager in ad-hoc financial analysis and administrative accounting tasks.

Kualifikasi

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA/CA).
  • At least 2-4 years of working experience in handling full sets of accounts.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., UBS, Sage, SAP, or Xero) and MS Office (Excel proficiency is essential).
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local tax regulations.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of integrity in handling financial data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive work attitude.
  • Ability to commit to a 6-month contract duration.
