We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Executive to join our team in George Town, Penang. In this dual-function role, you will act as the bridge between financial health and operational efficiency, serving as both a Credit Officer and a Cost Controller. You will be responsible for overseeing credit risk management, managing accounts receivable (AR), and ensuring precise tracking of F&B operational costs.

You will play a pivotal role in our month-end closing processes and provide actionable management reporting that assists leadership in strategic decision-making. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the full cycle of credit risk assessment for new and existing accounts to minimize bad debt.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including timely billing, invoice processing, and collection efforts.
- Conduct daily and monthly tracking of F&B inventory and operational costs to ensure compliance with budget targets.
- Resolve complex customer billing discrepancies and disputes with a high level of professionalism.
- Prepare accurate and timely month-end management reports, including P&L statements and cost variance analysis.
- Monitor credit limits and trigger alerts for accounts nearing thresholds or overdue payments.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize procurement costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or credit control function, preferably within the F&B or Hospitality sector.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, or cloud-based ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Solid understanding of credit management principles and collection strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Effective communication skills in English, Malay, and/or Mandarin (to handle diverse stakeholder requirements).
- Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy.
