Tanggung Jawab
- Manage full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL) and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Perform month‑end closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analysis.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings in compliance with Malaysian regulations.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management as required.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audit periods and provide necessary documentation.
- Maintain proper accounting records and ensure timely filing of tax returns and other statutory obligations.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance department.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in full‑set accounting or general ledger (GL) role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Sage, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Solid knowledge of Malaysian GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory requirements (GST, Income Tax, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA) is an advantage.
